Spring Tournament 2012
A huge ‘well done’ to all the schools who competed in our latest tournament on 27th March 2012.
It was a great tournament with some fierce competition and highly contested games. Only 4 points separated 1st and 2nd place – and only 6 points separated ALL the other schools!
The overall winner was Eldon Infant School, they also produced the ‘Player of the Tournament’ Yyrone Mavidid. Tyrone proved himself to be a good team player and played a key role in helping Eldon School’s team secure the title.
We were very impressed with the level of basketball played – the improvement compared to the basketball played in the December league was remarkable and we look forward to even further improvements in our next tournament.
Winners – Eldon Infant School
Second Place – Haselbury Infant School
Third Place – Churchfield Primary School
Player of the Tournament Tyrone Mavidid – Eldon Infant School
